Pediatric urology as a subspecialty has made rapid progress over the last decade. During this period, medical training has also evolved from a more knowledge-based and factual approach to problem-based learning. Although there are several excellent pediatric urology textbooks available, given the relatively limited number of opportunities available for training in pediatric urology, this textbook discusses the common pediatric urological conditions encountered in clinical practice in a problem-based format.
